Today,
July 9, has been opened a new motorhomes
rest area in Navarrevisca, province of Avila.
The opening of the rest area has been promoted by the
town council in collaboration with two motorhome associations.
The
area is part of the Navarrerisca tourist-sports complex, located next to the
swimming pool (the new hostel and sports, “Ramiro Matamoros”).
The
stopover has 32 parking places for motorhomes, drinking water, grey water and
chemical toilet discharge facilities.
It
is a great area to visit the well known Gredos National Park and the “Ruta de
las Cinco Villas” (five villages route)
Navarrevisca
is also a privileged place, with a spectacular natural environment and plenty
of historical and cultural interest.
Navarrevisca
is located at an altitude of 1129 meters above sea level in the southern
province of Avila. The town is nestled in the Alto Alberche and borders places
of interest such as: the municipalities of Serranillos, Navalosa, Villanueva de
Avila and Mijares; nice places for trekking and other sports.
