Motorhome stopover in Pamplona, San Fermín and running of the bulls, Spain, 2016

If you travel by motorhome to Pamplona, you can take the opportunity of participating in San Fermin festival and the running of the bulls.

You are allowed to park; however, you can not stay overnight in your vehicle within the town of Pamplona. Therefore, if you plan to stay overnight, we recommend parking your vehicle with security in a guarded stopover. 

If you decide to park in the city, you may know that, according to the city Ordinance, parking is only allowed on straight line; you may only park at angle to the kerb, in cases where the size of the vehicle does not exceed the parking place. Please do not encroach upon the roadway or sidewalk in more than fifty centimeters.

Also in the neighbouring district of Berriozar (city of Pamplona) there is a place enabled for motorhomes: District of Berriozar Information, official website Spanish language. Berriozar borders the north and Pamplona, during the San Fermin celebrations has a local bus service every ten minutes, it takes 5 minutes to the Fiesta centre and the running of bulls. The stopover for motorhomes is located on the Plazaola street, in a very accessible area.
The stopover employers will be around two times a day for daily tickets.

The festival of San Fermín in the city of Pamplona (Navarre) is one of the most important celebrations in the región, held annually from 6th July, when the opening of the Fiesta is marked by setting off the pyrotechnic chupinazo (in the local language), to midnight 14th July. The week-long celebration involves many other traditional and folkloric events; however, one of well known attractions is the running of the bulls, starting everyday at 8:00 am from 7th July to 14th July. It is known locally as Sanfermines and is held in honor of Saint Fermin, the co-patron of Navarre. This international event had the participation of famous people like Ernest Hemingway, since then it became known worldwide attracting people from many countries in the world.
