Luxembourg, free transport throughout the city

If you travel to Luxembourg, remember that the authorities of that country announced that all public transport (trains, trams and buses) will be free from March 1, 2020.

The government expects the measure to ease congestion and bring environmental benefits, according to Dany Frank, spokesman for the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works.
Luxembourg is a small country with a lot of traffic. It is also one of the richest countries in Europe, with the highest GDP per capita in the European Union.

In conclusion, all residents and tourists will enjoy free bus and train trips (except first class train trips), a unique measure in the world. The goal is to reduce the number of passengers driving cars by 46% in five years.
