Motorhome registration statistics in Europe, 2016

The motorhome market is recovering, except Austria, most European countries are remarkably increasing registration of these vehicles

According to the statistics, most European countries have had a significant improvement on motorhome registrations over recent years.

However, Spain stands out with the largest increase, +52%, on motorhome registrations in Europe. Figures compared with the previous year until June 2016.

Registration of caravans

Moreover, as regards to the registration of caravans, statistics show that there is a clear downward trend; for example, in the UK the increase on caravan registrations was only +3,7%; on the other hand, motorhomes went up +14%. In addition, a good number of caravanners choose to purchase a motorhome. And the trend is growing.
