WHAT TO DO BEFORE RENTING AN RV

How To Pick The Right RV For Your Family

Not all RV’s are created equal. This is something that you might not think about when you’re traveling down the road and see RV’s traveling to different destinations. There are two kinds of popular RV's they are C Class RV’s and A Class RV’s. A Class C RV is a rig with a bunk over the cab and varies in length from 22 to 31 feet long. Class C RV’s sleep 6 people and are great for people who want to rent an RV for the first time. Class A RV’s are larger and have more to move around. This is especially if you have 5 or 6 people in your family. Class A RV’s are generally nicer, offer more options and are worth the money.
Before You Rent An RV
One of the most important parts to renting an RV is thoroughly checking it out to make sure that it’s in proper running condition before you hit the road. Even after you check out things like the tire pressure, engine fluids, lights etc you should take the RV out on the road to test it out and see how well it drives at freeway speeds and climbing hills.
Supplies To Bring On Your RV Trip
Knowledge is power when planning an RV Trip and you should take the time to think about all the comforts of home that you would want with you on your trip so you don’t think about what you should have brought with you when you’re out on the open road. Some of the most basic things to bring on any RV trip are enough bedding for everyone who will be sleeping in the RV, plenty of towels, wash cloths, pots, pans and silverware. You might also want to bring your own laundry soap so you can do laundry when out on the road.
Most RV Rental companies offer housekeeping packages that you can rent to furnish the RV with all the comforts of home.
Taking an RV holiday will be a fun experience for you and your family. Don’t forget to bring your digital camera or camcorder with you to record the many new places and experiences that you will remember for years to come.
