Corsica (France) welcomes motorcaravanners

The community of Corsica and its tourism agency (ATC) launched a call for projects this year, entitled "reception areas and services for motorhomes". This initiative is intended for professionals, but also for municipalities and individuals. Is is supported by the community and the ATC, the required projects have to meet specified requirements. The objective is to promote the creation of motorhome facilities to increase reception capacity on the island.

Therefore, this call for projects is good news for motorhomers that wish to discover Corsica. You can also opt for the Camping Car Corse agency that offers tours that include ferry crossings and overnight stays.

For Ludovic Ingargiola, one of the creators of Camping-Car Corse, "it was one of the concretions of this professional approach with the offer of prepaid packages with a set of 14 camps across the island that also contributes to an attractive solution",  he declared.

The opening of the reception of motorhomes to non-tourism professionals, the call for tenders, even for petrol stations, is part of the process that will lead to a better reception of motorhomes.

The issue is to attract motorhome riders to the Island of Beauty. "A magnificent territory that hopes to be able to conquer some of the 30,000 motorhomes that every year, during the winter, travel to Morocco or those choosing Spain or Portugal as their destination."
