Pay attention if you travel to La Rochelle, since parking is prohibited for motorhomes in various parts of the city.

Several indication panels were installed in the centre of La Rochelle to avoid RV parking; as it has been disclosed by French media, it was approved by the city of Poitiers.

The main argument of the authorities is to achieve a more fluid traffic to avoid overcrowding the historic centre of La Rochelle.

In this sense, four years ago, the mayor of the city decided to implement a series of signs banning parking on the Esplanade, the Port des Minimes and other parts of the city.
